He-t in Your Face

Homophobia begets Heterophobia begets Homophobia.

This could have just as easily been filmed on location in an erstwhile homophobic Russia or Italy, 20 years hence.

They say every dog must have his day and be nice to the people you meet on your way up for you may also see them on your way down. That rings so true.

Think about it. If the tide were to turn and turn it will someday (and quite possibly suddenly) in Russia and Italy, straights (what’s so straight about them anyway??) would be outnumbered 10 to 1. What would then be the fate of a homophobic Vladimir and his cronies?

Today’s hets think it appropriate to diss homos as if they belonged to another planet and were creatures of a lesser God. Tomorrow’s homos are going to grow up hating today’s hets even more and this will go on and on and on, for ever more. Sadly, there’s no such thing as hate fatigue.

We often resist or rail against that which deep down we know to be the truth. Could it be that Vladimir himself is gay and was stripped of his fundamental right to come out?

I think so. Do we have concurrence here? Yea or Nay?
