Shall We Dance?
Hand on heart - the one thing I have learned & re-learned from my many trials & tribulations in life working with corporates is the need to give in totally to Dancing; the Song of Life. Be it a salsa, waltz, flamenco or a swing, dancing is to the soul what reading & traveling, are to the mind. Dancing is a great form of aerobic exercise comparable even, to pumping iron at the local gym and goes straight through to every nook & cranny that is hard to reach for Prozac, Ritalin etc. In more ways than I can care to remember I find dancing more alluring than my favourite fragrance of all time : Allure from Chanel ( sorry, for dragging this totally off the shelf but feels so much better getting it off my hairy chest for once). Seriously, I have now come to enjoy dancing far more than I do going to the Turkish hamam every week to catch up with the guys. Maybe it is my Tuscan dancing instructor, or whatever! But dancing has given me my life back, and if I see another morality policeman or woman again in my life it will only be too soon!
